This is an official release version of The Bat! To make sure that you
have the most recent version of the program and for the latest news,
please visit The Bat! official Web Homepage -
http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/
The Bat! can do many things to make your e-mail communication easier
and more productive.
We at RIT Labs are working hard on improvements and new features, not
all of which may be explained fully in the Help file. In most cases,
when you right-click your mouse or use ALT-F10 key combination, you
will get a local menu of available features. This local menu system
will navigate you through all of the The Bat!'s features.
Some more hints:
- You can scroll a message to read it while the message is selected
in the messages list:
- by listing using <Space> button
- by scrolling using <Alt+Arrows>
- Folders can be sorted manually by selecting the folder, then
pressing the ALT key and dragging with your mouse. To put a
folder under another folder, use ALT+CTRL while dragging.
- You can easily create an identity for any folder in the folder's
properties, along with custom templates for new messages, replies,
and forwards that are used whenever that folder is selected or you
are handling a message in that folder. Be sure to check out these
powerful features of The Bat!
If you need more information on using The Bat!, please do not hesitate
to write us at info@thebat.net. The Bat! User Discussion List,
although not an official mailing list of RIT Research Labs, is also a
great resource for users. More information can be found on The Bat!'s
web page at:
http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/support.html
We also welcome all suggestions for improving The Bat!, as well as bug
reports. You can send your suggestions to wish@thebat.net and your bug
reports to bugs@thebat.net. You can quickly access our e-mail
addresses from The Bat!'s main menu at Help|Feedback.
Thank you for evaluating our program. We're sure that you'll find The
Bat! an easy to use, yet powerful program for helping you better
handle your e-mail.
